In a post-apocalyptic world where some people have evolved into "hybrids" between humans and animals, a young boy named Gus (Christian Convery) goes on a quest to find other hybrids like himself. Because hybrids are hunted by people who are afraid of them, Gus is accompanied by Tommy (Nonso Anozie) on his mission to find a safe home. Along the way, the pair encounter different people and obstacles.
