Minions & Monsters debut at the top of the weekend box office

Box office results July 5Debuting in the top spot for their first weekend box office, Minions & Monsters took in another $36.4 million for a one-week total of $61.4 million.

Toy Story 5, starring Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, and Joan Cusack dropped to second place this weekend. The film took in another $31 million for a three-week total of $36.6 million.

Young Washington debuted in third place this weekend, taking in a total of $20.8 million.

Supergirl starring Milly Alcock dropped to fourth place this weekend, taking in another $9.6 million for a two-week total of $58.4 million.

Disclosure Day, directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Emily Blunt and Josh O'Connor, dropped to fifth place this weekend, taking in another $6 million for a two-week total of $105.3 million.
