Absolutely the worst customer service in town.

If you want to be treated like a criminal, this is the place for you. I would drive to Portland (that is saying a lot) to see a movie before I would ever go back. Get your house in order Hood River Cinema. The management needs an overhaul. Wonder why the owner is always hiring at his other location. People do not want your customer no service and the establishment is always right attitude. Shame on you, this small town deserves better.

How hard is it to run a movie theater in a small town? Apparently you can get away with treating your customers like dirt and get away with it. It's a statistical certainty that you will eventually be made to regret your decision to patronize this place.

Terrible service

We purchased our tickets online (where they tacked on another 3 dollars for a booking fee, which I feel is a little over the top but not what this review is about) My boyfriend is a diabetic and carries a backpack daily that has supplies for every problem that may come up, including small snacks for low blood sugars. We came 30 minutes early and as we came into the theater we passed and talked to two employees (the counter and the ticket stand) and nothing was said about his backpack by either employee. About 30 - 45 minutes ( we've been there for over an hour) into the movie an employee comes in and said that the back pack is an over sized item and must go to the car. He let's them know it has his diabetes supplies, she goes and talks to her manager, and comes back says the manager would like to check his bag. He was gone for 5 -10 minutes while they checked his bag and because of snacks that are only used for LOW BLOOD SUGAR caused the bag to be confiscated and kept up front. They didn't even let him let his take his EMERGENCY glucagon out.So if he were to go low in anyway i would have had to take the time to rush to the front and argue with them while my he could be dangerously low.After the movie ended we headed out and there weren't any employees to get out backpack so we ended up having to step back there and get it. We did find that they continued to check the bag while we were in the movie. They opened pockets and left them unzipped and also in a very easily reachable spot. We will not be returning back to this cinema and we hope you don't support them either.

SHITTY CUSTOMER SERVICE

CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKED ASKED FOR AN EXTRA STRAW FOR THE POPCORN AND THE CONCESSION GUY REFUSED ME ALSO, THEY DON'T PROVIDE REFILLS FOR SODAS/POPCORN AND THEIR WEBSITE IS SUPER OLD AND I TOLD THEM I ALREADY BOUGHT THE MOVIE TICKETS ONLINE AND THEY JUST SAID THEY DIDN'T SEE ME UNTIL I PROVED TO THEM AND SHOWED THEM THE TICKET ON MY PHONE. THESE PEOPLE SUCK AND SO DOES THE MOVIE THEATER. A SHITSHOW
