Born: February 17, 1991

Born in Brooklyn, New York, Jeremy Allen White was always a child of the arts. Throughout elementary school he trained as a ballet, jazz, and tap dancer, but in middle school decided to change direction and pursue acting. He went on to study at the Professional Performing Arts School, and was hired for his first professional job straight out of high school.

He made his film debut in Beautiful Ohio (2006), playing a young Clive. That same year he appeared on the show Conviction as Jack Phelps, in the episode "Deliverance." It was after high school that he got his big break as Lip Gallagher on the series Shameless, and stayed with the show for 11 years. Playing the second oldest of the family, and the smartest kid, Jeremy became a fan favorite of the long running show.

In 2022, Jeremy was cast as the staring role of Carmen "Carmy" Berzarro on the Hulu series The Bear. He plays a chef who returns home to Chicago to run his family’s sandwich shop. He has been nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, and won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Televison Series, plus a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Preformance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series, and a Critics' Choice Televison Award for his role.

He is set to appear in the upcoming films The Iron Claw as Kerry Von Erich and Fingernails as Ryan.

Jeremy and his wife Addison Timlin, whom he married on October 18, 2019, have filed for divorce. They have two young children, Ezer and Dolores.
