Leroy Edwards III is an actor from Washington D.C. An alumnus of Howard University, he started his acting career in 1990, playing Tony on two episodes of the TV series A Different World (1987).

He also made guest appearances on television shows such as In Living Color (1993), Living Single (1997), and Malcolm & Eddie (1997). In 1990, Leroy played an orderly on six episodes of The Young and the Restless (1973), and returned to the series in 2020 as a character named Henry.

Leroy's movie debut role was an uncredited one in How Stella Got Her Groove Back (1998). He starred in Judgement (2003), a short film that he directed, wrote, and produced. The short is a comedy about God having a talk show in Heaven.

He was cast as Marcus in the comedy Up Against the 8 Ball (2004), in which two women play in pool tournaments to pay off their college tuition.

There was a small break in his film and television roles between the mid 2000s and mid 2010s, but by 2014 he was back on the screen. Leroy appeared on a string of shows, including Blood Relatives (2012), Sequestered (2014), and Murder Among Friends (2016).

He had a recurring role in the series A House Divided (2019), playing Henchman 2. He was also on General Hospital (1963) from 2021 to 2022, cast as a WSB Agent. Leroy recently appeared in the Netflix movie Purple Hearts (2022), alongside Sofia Carson and Nicholas Galitzine.

Leroy can be seen in Ryan Murphy's upcoming mini-series Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story (2022). The show is about serial killer and cannibal, Jeffrey Dahmer, who will be played by Evan Peters.

Leroy’s upcoming projects include The Killer, starring Michael Fassbender and Tilda Swinton, which is currently in post production. He will also appear in the short film All in her Head, set to release in 2022.

In addition to being an actor, Leroy is a swimmer and runner and is skilled in Taekwondo. He can play a variety of instruments such as the drums, guitar and bass. Leroy is proficient in French and American Sign Language.
