MEG TILLY

Date of Birth: February 14, 1960

Meg Tilly was born in Long Island, NY, but when her parents divorced, her mother moved Meg and her sister home to Texada Island in British Columbia, to live with her mother. The family later moved to Victoria, B.C., where Meg was raised.

At the age of 16, Meg moved to New York at 16 and made her film debut with a brief onscreen moment in Fame. You also might remember her as the teenage girlfriend to the unseen dead person who's committed suicide (actually played by Kevin Costner but his face was cut from the film) in The Big Chill. However, her big break—and an Oscar nomination to boot—came when she played the possessed nun in Agnes of God.

More recently, she won a 2013 Canadian Screen Award for her work on the TV series Bomb Girls.

Meg, who has been married three times, has two children from her first marriage and a son from a relationship with British actor Colin Firth. She is currently married to writer Don Calame.
