Born: June 29, 1992
Born in Geneva, Switzerland, Souheila Yacoub spent her teenage years as a member of the Swiss National Rhythmic Gymnastics Team. She competed at both the 2009 and 2010 World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships, then left school at 16 to dedicate herself fully to the sport. After the team failed to secure a place at the Olympics, she decided to step away from gymnastics entirely.
While figuring out her next steps, Souheila's sister encouraged her to enter Miss Suisse Romande. Around the same time, she began taking acting and dance classes in her hometown. Winning Miss Suisse Romande 2012 led to a scholarship for a three-year acting program at the Cours Florent in Paris.
Souheila first appeared on television in six episodes of the France 3 soap opera Plus belle la vie. After completing her studies at Cours Florent, she earned a breakthrough stage role in Paris, portraying Wahida in Wajdi Mouawad’s play Tous des oiseaux at the Théâtre national de la Colline. She later appeared in Gaspar Noé’s 2018 horror film Climax and the 2019 miniseries Savages.
In 2026, she joined the Evil Dead franchise with a starring role in Evil Dead Burn, the series’ sixth film.
