Born: August 16, 2002

Born in Buffalo, New York, Talia Ryder was made for the stage. She was introduced to the world of dance at three years old and had dreams of becoming a dancer and marine biologist. It wasn’t until she saw a showing of the musical Matilda on Broadway that 12-year-old Talia set her sights on performing. It took some convincing, but her mother let Talia and her sister audition for the musical. Although her experience with singing and acting was limited, she winged it and they both landed parts in Matilda.

Talia landed her first on-screen role in Eliza Hittman’s indie drama Never Rarely Sometimes Never (2020). She played Skylar, the cousin of the protagonist Autumn, played by Sidney Flanigan.

She returned to her musical theater roots when she was cast in Steven Spielberg's new film reboot, West Side Story (2021), as a chorus member of the Jets.

In 2022, she played Amelia in the Prime Video horror movie Master and Claire in the Netflix film Hello, Goodbye, and Everything In Between, opposite Jordan Fisher

She has stated her favorite dance movie is High School Musical. As a child, she memorized all the dance numbers in the film. She can also be seen in Olivia Rodrigo's music video for her song "Deja Vu."
