Worst Customer Service for a High End Theater

Dear Mr. Flowers, I am writing to formally express my extreme disappointment regarding the service my wife and I received at iPic River Oaks District during the 8:45 PM showing of The Devil Wears Prada 2 on May 6, 2026. We frequent iPic for the premium experience; however, the service we encountered was far below professional standards. We initially ordered light snacks and requested that a small popcorn be served 30 minutes later. When the popcorn failed to arrive, I followed up with our waiter, who appeared to re-enter the order. After 90 minutes of waiting, a server named Melanie attended to us. When I explained that this was my third request, she responded dismissively, asking, "Well, do you want it or not?" When the popcorn finally arrived ten minutes later, Melanie made a sarcastic comment about it being "nice and warm" and proceeded to stare us down in a confrontational manner. The most egregious lapse in professionalism occurred after the film. While I was reporting the experience to the Manager on Duty, Royi Bellaish, Melanie overheard the conversation. She interrupted by exclaiming, "Yes, it was me... it was me," and audibly laughed at us as she walked past. This level of mockery and open defiance in front of management is completely unacceptable. As I mentioned to Royi, patrons visit the River Oaks location for elevated service, not to beg for simple requests or endure mockery from staff. I declined a refund at the theater because my intention was not to seek a trivial discount, but to ensure this total breakdown in hospitality is addressed. Royi can attest to this behavior, as he witnessed her unprofessional and inappropriate conduct firsthand. Given the level of disrespect we encountered, I would like to know what steps you will take to rectify this situation and restore my confidence in iPic’s commitment to hospitality. Sincerely,

Leeann and Michael Aguirre are terrible!

Ipic completely ruined my birthday celebration. A low level staff member of Ipic by the name of Leanne called me in the middle of the movie and proceeded to cuss me out and also hang up on me regarding her misunderstand about an event. I spoke to her manager Michael Aguirre who also displayed a complete lack of professionalism and understanding of the situation. I explained to him that I’ve been going to Ipic for years and I take many employees and guests on a monthly basis for group retreats and he suggested I find a different theater. Usually when I read reviews like this I assume there’s another side of the story and someone is simply exaggerating that this is not the case in this situation.

they scam online buyers

i purchased 2 tickets online for $58. (yes. it really is that much). when i showed up to the theatre, they didn’t have my seats. a manager rescheduled them for a different day. we show up again and they still don’t have my seats. i called 5 times and left 3 voicemails and wrote an email to their GM “Robert Flowers”. i never heard one response back. i called corporate and left 2 voicemails. no one would call me back. after days of trying to get ahold of someone, i finally talked to the CFO who said he would refund me my money. he even took my credit card information down. i never saw my money. i’ve tried to call back and no one will answer the phone. apparently, according to the cashier that works there and a bartender, they are instructed not to answer the phone. they are out here scamming people
