Maggie (Emma Appleton) and Birdy (Bel Powley) have been best friends since childhood. Now in their twenties, they rent an apartment in Camden with two friends (Aliyah Odoffin, Marli Su) they met in university.

After Maggie meets Street (Connor Finch), a musician on a train, she sets Birdy up with Street's roommate, Nathan (Ryan Brown). While Maggie and Street have a superficial relationship based on sex, Birdy and Nathan fall deeply in love.
