Criminal defense lawyer Mea Harper (Kelly Rowland) meets with her client Zyair Malloy (Trevante Rhodes) to discuss his murder case. Zyair starts talking about the victim, his deceased girlfriend, and shows paintings he has done that depict her. He starts to seduce his lawyer, and they find compelling evidence against him.
