The official trailer for The Late Bloomer begins with Dr. Peter Newman (Johnny Simmons) giving a TED Talk on sex. When footage of him making out with a woman is seen, it becomes obvious Dr. Newman isn't attracted to women. This isn't because he's gay, but because he's never gone through puberty. The 27-year-old doctor then begins puberty at an accelerated rate and he simply can't control his urges.
