Cristiana Lopez (Brigitte Kali Canales) goes to her ancestral homeland of Veracruz chasing a story. When she's abducted by locals, Cristina meets Luz (Julia Vera), a bruja who practices "the old ways." Believing Cristina has a demon inside her, Luz subjects her to torment and ancient rituals. Slowly beginning to believe the ways of Luz and her people, Cristina tries her best to fight for her soul, and survive her nightmare.
