In the official trailer for Wish Upon a young teenage girl, Claire (Joey King), acquires a magic box that grants her seven wishes. Claire’s first wish to enact revenge on Darcie Chapman (Josephine Langford), who nearly ran her over with a car. Claire wishes the girl to “rot.” The wish takes effect and Darcie wakes up to find her skin rotting. Claire says the magic box has given her everything, including money and love. But as those around her begin to fall victim to the evil power of the magic box, Claire learns she should be more careful about what she wishes for.
