The Beast
THE BEAST is a sexually explicit retelling of Beauty and the Beast as an erotic fantasy by cult Polish auteur Walerian Borowczyk. This dreamlike film ties a contemporary narrative about a young woman forced into an arranged marriage in order to secure her inheritance and a 200-year-old fable about a countess ravished by a beast in the nearby forest.
In French with English subtitles.
