Totally worth the watch. Tommy Lee Jones is definitely at the end of his acting career. I couldn't tell if Jones was being lazy or I partially felt like he was just supposed to be completely stone faced and monotone, but there were glimpses of Foxx getting Jones out of his shell and living a little not just trying to leave something for his family and thinking about his own mortality the whole movie. Foxx was funny and the surprise to me was Alan Ruck. There's a part he completely admits he's racist and he's trying to work on himself while still shaking hands with his new team and then realizing how talented they really are and at one point having a good time with all of his teammates. While not a complete 180 turnaround which normally happens in these movies, he didn't denounce his own family who was part of the KKK proving he still has a long road ahead of him to actually change. It was also rather refreshing to see a Canadian business mogul be the bad guy here. A Canadian company was taking advantage of people and showing Canadians can be just as ruthless as the next rich guy. Honestly, what the company did was VERY despicable. Give it a watch.

Good performances from Tommy Lee Jones and Jamie Foxx. Compelling storyline, based on true events. Really enjoyed this film! Saw it at TIFF.
